1889 Marlin Deluxe in 38-40. 24" 1/2 round 1/2 octagon barrel and 1/2 magazine tube. Nice bore, I will rate it a 7.5 on a scale from 1 to 10. Barrel retains 30% original blue with the remainder a gray / brown patina. Receiver is a nice smooth gray / brown patina as well. Action functions smoothly. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition. All the numbers match: frame, upper tang, buttstock and buttplate. Checkering on forend and buttstock are worn but still visible. Original front and rear sights. Deluxe 89 Marlin's are rare, especially 1/2 octagon barrels. Antique and can be shipped directly to your doorsteps. Please feel free to ask questions.
