Description:
"Interesting musket assembled out of European military musket parts and American restock. 60 caliber with a 47" barrel. This looks to be a mixture of French and maybe Dutch or German components. The stock is an American restock. Along with the gun comes a note that reads: “Oconostatota Faught/ French + Indian War his/ gun was rnet in Battle/ It was fixed by Leroy? Miller in Redding./ He then Faught 10 Battles in REV./ War. He gave his gun/ To Samuel Miles/ When he Dyed. H was a Cherokee Indian/ Wrote By Samuel Mills/ Son/ Zeak" Interesting Possible Revolutionary war gun that requires further research.
