This is an excellent example of a rare Walther Mod P.38 sold in the commercial market during WW2. This one is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" proofs. This gun is rare as only 1,800 were produced. It has retained about 96-97% of its plumb-colored finish. There is thinning and spotty oxidation on the front strap. Minor muzzle wear and wear at the front edges of the slide. Comes with excellent reddish period-correct bakelite grips and a "P.38v" marked magazine. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
