This is a nice example of an early Mauser M1910 that is referred to as the 'sidelatch' variant, due to the obvious design feature on left side of the frame. There were only about 15,000 of this variation produced, and this example is in the proper serial range and happens to have a particularly early serial. It is all matching with about 90% blue remaining. Most of the finish loss comes in the form of somewhat scratchy wear on the front strap. There is also minor wear around the muzzle and high edges of the slide. Noticeable thinning on the barrel. There are some light scratches here and there. Comes with a slightly worn period-correct wood grip and nickeled magazine. The rifling in the bore is worn with minor pitting throughout.
