H&R Bay State Single Shot 16 gauge, 30" bbl Nice Brown Patina
Great conversation piece while in the field!!
You are looking at a H&R Bay State, 16 gauge single-shot shotgun. We're not sure if this is a Model 7 or 9 Bay State. The Bay State was manufactured between 1908 and 1942. The gun has an exposed hammer, auto ejector and a rounded pistol grip stock. The barrel is 30" and is choked MOD. The bore is clean and shiny and in very good condition for the age of the gun. The barrel has 75% bluing with some rust pitting. Most of the receiver's case color is gone and the receiver has turned a nice patina. The wood on the forearm and stock (both are checkered) is in good condition with some minor scuff marks and scratches. There are no cracks. There is a plastic buttplate on the stock that's also in good condition with no cracks. Overall this gun is in very good condition mechanically and good in appearance.

Shipping
Buyer pays a fixed S/H/I rate. Shipping price is quoted for the lower 48 States. Alaska and Hawaii pays actual S/H/I cost. Packages are sent via UPS (all long guns) or USPS (all handguns).
Firearms are transfered to FFL Dealers only. The buyer is responsible for finding a FFL to handle the Firearms Transfer.
