Description:
Decorative cedar purse/basket. Interior of piece is made of woven cedar bark, covered with white doe skin over most of piece. Has a thick hide braided handle and a pouch of hide in the front. beaded rosette and inked moose on inside cover. Has braided leather ties and drops. Front features a polished deer antler burr above beaded design. Beadwork features geometric designs, crosses, and colors of red, white, blue, and green. Lid of basket has a hand painted scene of a moose in a lake bed with forest and mountain scene behind him. Well designed and completely functional piece. Could be display in a Southwestern or vintage eclectic style home, or could easily be used as a function purse or basket. Size: 16"H x 9"L x 5"W
