44 RF; Good bore, good stock, 22'' barrel, Marked on barrel 'Ball & Williams/Worcester Mass and Merwin & Bray.Agts/New York. Forend appears to have been shortened a little and there is no barrel band present. Also no provision on the buttstock for a swivel as found on most destined for military use? Ejector knob on the bottom of forend is a custom made replacement. Possibly a specimen purchased for prison guard use? Metal is a rust brown patina overall. Functions fine.
