This is quite an unusual and very interesting P.38. We have in 90+% condition, a scarce Walther made ac44 P.38 manufactured in 1944 that was captured and brought back to England during WW2. Consistent with British requirements the pistol had to be submitted to the British proof house and cleared as safe for firing then proofed accordingly. The pistol is a textbook completely matching example with a nice bore and complete with a 1944 hard shell holster and extra magazine and white grips! I’m not sure what the significance of the white grips, perhaps parade grips? There are a lot of serious P.38 collectors that will find this piece too fascinating not to have in their collection. To complete the transaction, we will need a copy of your FFL, or when appropriate C&R (this qualifies as a C&R) of your choice for shipping purposes. For payment we will accept personal checks, money orders, certified check or cashiers’ check, all major credit cards. Credit cards are acceptable with a 4% up-charge for processing.
