Savage 99G two barrel set 300 savage and 410 in the orginal case with handle. This gun was purchased and shipped October 25th 1922. Comes with a letter from Savage Arms explaining the history of the rifle, when it was bought and shipped from factory to hardware store, and then, returned back to Savage and then resold February 29th 1924 to W.W.Winship Co.
I belive W.W. Winship Co. was the company who built the first two barrel case set for Savage. Condition is great for the age and all numbers matching on the 99G rifle. The .410 barrel does not have a serial number but it lines up tight and straight down the receiver to the rear / front sight.
