Description:
U. S. Springfield Armory model M2 Training bolt-action rifle. Chambers .22 long rifle caliber cartridges fed from a detachable box magazine. The barrel length is 22 inches with an excellent bore. The stock is solid wood with a checkered steel butt-plate and a groove on each side of the fore-end. It is stamped, "NTS 12", on the right side of the stock. Sling loops are attached. Adjustable rear sight and unhooded fixed front sight. There is some pitting throughout. Dated Dec. 1933 on the barrel. SN: 27**
