Payment Types Accepted: Personal or cashier's Check, Money Order Description: Offered is an example of a very early 1851 Colt Navy revolver (S/N 14307) manufactured in the second year of production - 1852. This revolver was manufactured prior to the Civil War. They were in high demand by officers on both sides during the Civil War. Their 80 grain lead ball projectiles were similar in energy to a modern .380 acp cartridge. They were in use in the Western frontier up until 1873. Condition: Fair steel components with corrosion evident. "ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW YORK CITY" visible and clear on top of the barrel. The wood and brass components are in excellent un-marred condition. All the serial numbers are clearly visible and match. The bore is good with most of the rifling visible. The screw heads are good except for the ram rod screw. $995 or offer. Shipping is $35.
