Description:
Marlin model 39 "Star Gun" lever-action rifle. Chambers .22 short, long or long rifle cartridge. The barrel is octogon and 24" long. Bore shows very little pitting. Bluing is rated at ~40% with no signs of rust. The wood stock is rated at ~80%. Tubular magazine. Length of pull is 13-1/2". Appears to be the original black plastic butt plate. Fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. Serial numbers shows that it was manufactured around 1926 to 1929. SN: S10###
