Description:
This Savage Model 1899 two barrel set is in very good overall condition. Wood is solid with normal marks for a gun this age. Forend has some flaking of finish and buttstock has had a coat of finish added at some point. Rear sling swivel is missing showing only a hole. Blue appears original and remains in very good overall condition with only some light scratches and no pitting. Bore is excellent. Brass counter and empty chamber indicator. Gun is complete with Savage case that is very worn on the inside. .300 Savage and .410 bore barrels complete the set. Screw is missing from forend release. Still a nice old gun! .300 Savage
