S&W model 29-2 revolver, 6 ½” blue, .44 magnum. The iconic S&W 44 mag made famous by the “Dirty Harry” movie series, this one was purchased new in 1975 and I acquired it from the original purchaser. The 29-2 version is known as having the features of “P&R” or pinned (barrel) and recessed cylinder and it is loaded with the popular options of the era: Red ramp front sight, white outline rear sight and wide Target trigger and with the large Goncalo Alves target grips.
There is a typical “drag” line around the cylinder but otherwise this revolver retains 98% original finishes and is mechanically perfect.
This is a complete ensemble with the revolver, original presentation case w/all paperwork including the unused warranty registration and all cleaning accessories; as well as the original cardboard sleeve for the case.
A very desirable revolver with all the hard to find “goodies”.
