Belgian proofed large frame ,revolver marked "British constabulary" on top of frame, 50 CAL or bigger, 5 1/2 inch barrel, "The proof marks are Liege,and this type was used until July 11,1893.This is strictly made in Belgium", brown floral with mythical griffin hard rubber brown grips, no serial number showing, old patina returning to metal surfaces that show. Detailed scroll work Engraving and scattered light areas of pitting; nonworking hand (FREE SPINS UNTIL COCKED), fair bore, well preserved complete grips, lanyard ring and base still intact.
