We are offering for sale a 1942 INLAND DIV. (General Motors) M1 PARATROOPER CARBINE semi-automatic rifle chambered in .30 caliber. This rifle remains in very good, fully functioning condition. It comes with (1) Saginaw marked 10rd Magazines, US marked muzzle cover and green sling.
18" original barrel is good with original finish; Dated 8-42 and marked for Inland and General Motors; Clean bore with crisp rifling. The action is very good and clean with original markings. Semi-auto functions flawlessly. Factory sights intact; Rear sight marked "H.I". Mag release marked "M". Trigger grouping is "S.G" for Saginaw. Front barrel band marked "MMQ". The stock and handguard are very good without damage; Some light general field wear noted. This a FOLDING PARATROOPER STOCK in original form; Light dent where metal buttstock meets wood. Inside of stock marked "L". No markings on handguard.
