Description:
These H&R Topper Model 48 Single Barrel Shotguns were a basic staple for many families for years and in fact they were usually our "first" shotgun. The 30 inch barrel has a fixed full choke with excellent bore and chamber. This particular example has the case colored receiver and walnut stock and forend. Wood is excellent as are all the metal parts with orginal blued finish and only a few minor blems. Still probably the best "first" shotgun and will no doubt outlive us all if properly cared for.
