Here we have a 62-year-old Beretta Silver Hawk side x side that was never afield, retaining 99%+++ of its original factory condition. The barrels are tight as new on the hinge pin and breech face with the lever way right of center. The Silver Hawk is a sturdy gun and this one is supplied with the single trigger and beavertail forend. The hand-checkered buttstock and beavertail forend are nicely figured European walnut and there are only a few light safe handling marks…no hunting or field marks, no wear on the checkering. The gun weighs a very comfortable 7lbs. and balances dead on the hinge pin. The 26 ½” barrels are factory choked IC/M, making this a perfect field gun for this year’s hunting season or to break clay targets at the club. Beretta is well-known for building only quality guns, and they are nicely adorned. The guns built in the 1966 era were all hand engraved and hand checkered, something you don’t see in today’s affordable gun market. Did I say affordable? This gun is an amazing buy compared to what you find in today’s gun world. Here you can buy an “as new” double gun from one of the most desirable makers in the world for the price you would pay for a cheap Turkish gun. Pretty much a no-brainer. See the specifications below for all the details, but this gun has it all…great stock dimensions, new condition, perfect chokes for most upland and clays, hard-to-find single trigger (non-selective and most reliable of them all), and fancy beavertail forend, all for under $3000!
