On Hold Sale Pending Formerly Flintlock US New England/ Massachusetts Musket converted to percussion Circa 1820's, approximately 69 caliber. From what I have read these were often made from a mixture of U S military and British gun parts for use by the early New England Militia's. The full stock is on very good condition with brass furniture. The 42 inch barrel appears military with millions proofs at the breach. The formerly flintlock converted to percussion lock is marked London warranted. The functioning lock and barrel have a nice brown patina. A very nice historical early military arm.
