This N-frame 1988-89 nickel finish single action/double action 6 shot revolver is a Smith & Wesson Model 57-2 chambered in .41 Magnum. The .41 Magnum round is a mid-velocity cartridge offering more power than a .357 Magnum, but without the recoil of the .44 Magnum. This handgun has a fixed serrated ramp with orange insert front sight, a micrometer click adjustable white outline notch rear sight, a serrated trigger, a raised serrated rib, a serrated backstrap, a shrouded extractor rod, and original S&W emblem wood checkered grips. It is in overall very good condition, showing only minimally noticeable light handling marks. It comes with wooden display case, including all the tools pictured. .41 Remington Magnum
