Description:
A very nice late production Browning High Power manufactured under German occupation in World War II. This pistol comes from the "b" block of Browning production and dates to late 1943 early 1944. Pistol is all matching with a pleasing overall appearance, the bluing is thinning in spots, particularly on the front and rear straps, however Browning production was notorious for a quality drop late in the German occupation. This example has some interesting features seen on later pistols including the black bakelite grips and the MR stamp on the triggerguard. Pistol has e/140 waffen acceptance proofs, barrel is number matching and the magazine is e/140 proofed on the back. A great example of a german wartime used gun.
