Beautiful Meriden made 16ga Parker GHE made on a #1 frame with 26" Parker Special Steel barrels that are marked "Skeet in Skeet Out" on the barrel flats as seen in the photos. Made with original beavertail forend, Parker Single Selective Trigger, auto ejectors, capped pistol grip buttstock with what is likely the original Hawkins pad at the butt. Case hardened action is engraved in standard GHE pattern.
This gun remains excellent condition. Barrels retain nearly all of an older professionally restored finish. The action retains about 30% original case color with crisp original engraving. Stocks are sound and retain most of their original finish with a few minor handling marks. Trigger guard is excellent and appears professionally reblued when the barrels were done- engraving still crisp as seen in the photos. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. Gun is nice and tight and on face.
The 16ga skeet guns are the hardest to find in the Parker line. The game of skeet was just coming on as Parker Bros. was fading out and 16ga was phased out of skeet very early on making these rare and hard to find guns. This one is in really nice shape.
