***SOLD*** Extremely Nice WWII Colt 1911A1, 45 auto, shipped to Transportation Officer, Springfield Armory, between June 10th - 22nd of 1943.
It is in original condition, based on our thorough inspection! It's marked G.H.D for Guy H. Drewry, Brig. General inspector mark. Correct barrel with "Colt 45 Auto", "P" on barrel lug, and "G" on bottom (see pics), with good bore condition. It has correct checkered slide stop, safety, mainspring housing and hammer! It comes with WWII magazine manufacturd by Little Co (Thus marked "L"). All pistol parts are original and period correct! Serial number under the firing pin plate matches the one on the Receiver (946101), as expected for this serial number range!
Original correct Coltwood plastic stocks with mold numbers, wide rings, and strengthening ribs, in outstanding condition! The action on this pistol is absolutely superb! It's very smooth and operates flawlessly!
