WW2 GERMAN NAZI WANGEL PATTERN INFANTRY OFFICER’S SWORD AND SCABBARD BY CARL EICHORN OF SOLINGEN. 38” o/a with 33” nickel plated blade signed on ricasso with makers name and logo. Gilded brass hilt and black lacquered steel scabbard. Black composition grip wrap with minor loss at top of grip. Original grip wire. Very good overall with moderate carry wear and attic patina. All original with much of the gilding remaining on hilt.
