Description:
circa 1937 Colt model 1903, not 1908, chambered in .380 acp. Frame is color-case hardened, slide has it's original finish, and the grip safety, thumb safety, and trigger are nitre-blued. Grips are Giraffe bone with original old-style medallions, made by Nutmeg Sports of Connecticut, and they are fabulous. Case hardening and bluing by Ford's of Florida, a great shop. I have taken this pistol out a number of times, and the finishes are quite durable. It is as accurate and reliable as you would expect. Very cool 1903.
