Description:
W&C Scott Model Monte Carlo B Pigeon gun made in 1899. This is the rare model with crystal cocking indicators and Monte Carlo stock. This gun additionally had the most up to date patented features of Scott guns including the gas check system on the breech face (1892), elegant lever forend latch (1876), crystal cocking indicators (1875) and the Scotts improved bolt system (1892). Extractors as was typical for pigeon guns. Case colors as original. Sharp engraving with a pigeon in flight on each lock plate. Lettering on the barrels and top rib is crisp. Blue is at 98%. Wide pigeon style rib. Barrels are 30" with tight ribs and ring quite nicely. Mirror bores that are perfect. Right barrel measures .733 while the left is .734. Chokes are Full and Full as you would expect for a pigeon gun. Fluid steel barrels are marked "Special Steel". Chambers are 2 3/4". Weight of the gun is 7 LBS 7 1/4 OZ.
