Should be a real decent big-bore black powder shooter after a thorough safety check by a competent gunsmith. Smooth grey-brown metal with mottled age staining, VG markings. Decent wood except for a nasty sliver on the buttstock toe edge and some long scratches on the left comb (see photos).
