Description:
Parker Bros. GH grade 12 gauge. Built in 1892,this gun has 30" damascus barrels with excellent bores choked IM (,025:) and full (.035").the chambers are the original 25/8". The gun is in outstanding original condition retaining 50% of the original case colors,98% of the wood finish,and 95% of the damascus finish. Built on a number one frame and it has the early style fishtail top lever.The barrels have excellent wall thickness and are bright and free of rust or pitting. The barrels lock up on face tightly to the action.The stock has no cracks or damage and retains the original dogs head buttplate. The engraving is finely executed and is typical of the outstanding engraving found the the early Parker guns. This is a classic Parker from the Golden age of American gunmaking. Classified as an antique so it can be shipped direct.
