Here we have a very nice Taurus PT24/7 semi auto pistol chambered in .40 S&W caliber. The Taurus PT 24/7 is a semi-automatic pistol using the short type of recoil operation. Using a hammerless, striker-fired design, these pistols are manufactured by Forjas Taurus S/A (Taurus Forge) in Porto Alegre Brazil and distributed in the United States by their subsidiary Taurus USA. The 24/7 product line was designed for the civilian concealed carry firearms market, and as backup weapons for law enforcement officers. This particular example is in very good condition overall and the 4 inch barrel has a bright bore with strong rifling. This pistol is made more versatile because it has a picatinny accessory rail at the front of the barrel allowing the mounting of a tactical light or laser. A thumb operated safety is on the left side of the pistol. One 15 round magazine comes with the gun.
