About Us: First of all, thank you for your interest in my listing. I am an FFL Dealer in Connecticut, as well as a collector. The business name, Warthog Arms, is derived from my Air Force service as an avionic tech on A-10 Thunderbolts (also known as the Warthog). I always strive to go the extra mile to ensure a very satisfying transaction and have an established, trustworthy reputation. I also use GB for listings so if you would like to view my feedback, you can look me up in Advanced Search under Warthog-Arms. My current rating there is A+(160).

Description:
For your consideration is an Auguste Francotte 12ga side-by-side shotgun made in Liege, Belgium in 1905 and imported by the famous sporting goods dealer Von Lengerke & Detmold of New York.

It features auto-extractors, box lock action, double-triggers, 28” barrels with 2 5/8” chambers, and Improved and Modified chokes. LOP 14-3/4", DAC 1-3/4” DAH 3-1/4”.

Mechanically excellent, locks up tight and functions perfectly. All numbers match.

Wood has an overall very good finish with some scratches and dings consistent with use, checkering is well-defined. No cracks or splits, though there is a small sliver of wood missing on the forend.

Bores are very good and bright. There is a small indentation near muzzle end of right barrel as shown in pics.

Metal finish is good, with some thin blueing. Receiver has some plating loss, particularly on the bottom and trigger guard.

Has a Decelerator recoil pad, looks fairly vintage.

A decent example from a well-renown Belgian sporting gun manufacturer.

This is a C&R firearm and I can accept your C&R FFL in MOST but not all states. No C&R long guns can be sent to C&R licensees in CT, NY, NJ, MD, MA and HI. Otherwise, I must ship to an FFL Dealer.

I am an FFL Dealer in CT and new to listing on GI (this is my first listing). I have been on GB for some time, my account name there is Warthog-Arms if you would like to review my feedback...A+(37).

Please let me know if you would like to see additional photos, my current account level only allows me to post 15.
