Naational Match Springfield fitted with Model 1922 pistol grip stock with full length military fore-end without finger grooves (beautiful, straight grained American black walnut). Two reinforcing screws (standard to all NM rifle stocks); Shotgun style all steel butt plate; headless cocking piece; reversed safety; Star gaged barrel; drilled and tapped by Springfield Armory for Lyman 48 receiver sight. No rear ladder sight. These rifles were available from DCM from 1924 through 1928. This one was sold to Ray W Sanford (my grandfather's cousin) on September 27, 1924.
