We offer you a “Gorgeous” Winchester Model 1894 Oliver F. Winchester Commemorative Lever Action 38-55 Rifle C&R Okay.
This Winchester model 1894 Commemorative rifle is chambered in 38-55 Winchester. It wears a full octagon 24 inch barrel. It is in the serial number matching box as shown. The sleeve is in rough shape and shows tears and loss at each end as shown. The inner Styrofoam box and Winchester marked lid are in fine condition. In the box is the factory protective paper and hang tag.
The left side of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER MODEL 94 38-55 WIN. / MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL”. The right side of the barrel sports a gold filled “Oliver F. Winchester” signature likeness. The top of the barrel is marked with the oval “WP” proof mark. The tang is marked “MODEL 1894 / WINCHESTER”. The underside of the receiver is marked with the serial number of “OFW11380” the Winchester Proof is on the barrel at the receiver.
The rifle is in excellent condition and appears not to have been fired since leaving the factory. There are no marks on either of the stocks. They are clean and in excellent condition as shown. The barrel and magazine tube finish are also in excellent condition with no marks in the finish. The Gold tone receiver shows some small rub spots on the edges as pictured, with the balance being in excellent condition. Those might be cleaned off, but will leave that to the new owner.
This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $65. This rifle will be shipped in a heavy double walled foam lined cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.
