Custom W. F. Steenkamp “Tarpon” Liner-Lock Flipper Knife?
Blade: 3.5inch of N690 steel; in a custom clip-point or drop-point with just a beautiful swedge running parallel with Mr. Steenkamp’s sick uni-directional hand-rubbed-satin finish with mirrored flats & Classy Laser etched Logo on Show-Side only; Just masterfully done
Scales: Blue/Silver Lightening Strike Carbon-Fiber that is hand-contoured and fine finish work in transitioning materials; smooth; classy knife!!
Bolsters: Stainless Damascus
Liners (Liner materials): Titanium, Anodized a light-mirrored-blue with hand jeweling inside both Ti liners with super comfy hand contouring for disengaging Lock with 1 thumb and feels tailored over and above. Along the Ti liners there are also a dark racing stripe to add depth and contrast. This is what I love about this gentleman’s work. (Look at photos for all the details.) Hand-File work along spine; Materials transition beautifully.
Pocket Clip: Titanium contoured and blending into scales & Anodized Black
Backspacer: Carbon Fiber; Hans file work; cross logo inside backspacer near this beautifully, hand-crafted by one of my favorite makers Willem F. Steenkamp (All work completed by Willem and knife is one-of-a-kind.
