Description:
This is a very nice condition Erma Dutches Sportmodell chambered in .22 LR. IT has a beautifully bright shinny bore the wood is in excellent shape the stock has nice figuring throughout. It shoots like a dream nice light trigger. Made to be a trainer for the 98 Mauser it has a very similar look and feel. it has the same three position safety as the Mauser and bolt release. you can even see the similarities throughout the accents on the stock. On the side it has the name L.Dieter Munchen stamped into it just below the bolt release. Some Quick Research shows the L. Dieter was a gunsmith in Munich and was listed as a "HofBüchsenmacher" or Gunsmith to the royal house. Great shooter and collctable rifle.
