Description:
Presented here is a fine Browning BSS boxlock double barrel shotgun in 20 gauge. Miroku of Japan made these boxlock SxS's for Browning, and they’re based on the classic Anson & Deeley boxlock design. The BSS is known for it's rugged and dependable action. This one’s special because it’s a Sporter, so it has a trimmer, English-style, straight-grip stock. This makes it a bit lighter than most 20g BSSs — and a bit better looking. This particular example is very minty condition and looks to have been carried and used very little. The lovely satin stock is of a straight English style with a semi beavertail forend. The 28 inch barrel has a very good bore, topped with a solid rib, white bead sight and choked modified and full. It has 3 inch chambers and ejectors. Only the very lightest of handling marks exist on the gun....it's in outstanding condition overall. Detailed information can be seen in the specs below. This fine and nimble little Browning would make a great field gun or a strong addition to a collection of side by sides. No Box.
