Description:
Monte Kennedy custom rifle based on a commercial FN Mauser action in the caliber of .257 Roberts. It was built in 1964 and remains in excellent condition and looks unfired, but the stock has a few small impressions on the underside of the forend. Kennedy was one of the foremost stock makers in the world, and his attention to detail is exquisite. The metal work may be early Tom Burgess, and the jewelling of the bolt and follower is expertly done.
