Description:
This WWII era machine gun is described as below in the parts inventory and their markings. The condition is obviously used, but in very good condition. The handguard was most likely not issued with a 2-rivet handguard nor a post-war unmarked recoil plate. The front sight is marked with an R on top, but it is not a known marking to me. I did not verify the markings on the trigger, sear, or bolt, nor any of the MG parts, except for the selector switch, which is marked with an A on an angle on the left side as shown. I cannot identify that marking on that part as original, even though its condition matches those of the other MG parts. I didn't check the installed MG parts and their interaction with the factory parts so that the timing of the automatic feature was not tinkered with in any way, because the carbine functions flawlessly. Buyer to pay actual costs of shipping, insurance and ATF Stamp fee of $200.00 for the transfer of the carbine from my SOT to buyer's SOT. Cashier's Check only, please. I will pay the $200.00 from me to my SOT. The terms of the transaction are: 50% of winningprice non-refundable, within ten days of 's end; balance of  winning bid, plus shipping and insurance, as well as the $200.00 ATF Stamp Fee within 10 days of ATF approval of transfer from my SOT to your SOT. I do not accept credit cards, debit cards, or ANY of the person to person payment apps.  Bank-issued Checks and US Postal Service Money Orders are the only forms of payment I can accept. The M1 Carbine is a known collectible, having collected them for over 30 years, but the true M2 (without the re-struck marking on them) is a true rarity and the ultimate collector's model of the iconic WWII M2 carbine, many of which were lost in WWII and Korea. As always, it is highly recommended that a qualified gunsmith perform a safety inspection on all used firearms prior to firing. ALL NFA RULES APPLY, PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR ANYTHING LESS. Thanks for looking.
