Description:
The model 97 in it's own right was a pretty gun to start with. When you add dlx wood and Marlin #2 engraving it is stunning! Then you add the high condition and you can't take your eyes off this gun. Bbl blue is at 90-95%. Most case colors remain. Dimmed somewhat. Nice smooth metal. This 22 cal Marlin is pictured on page 238 of The Marlin Firearms Book by Brophy. A letter also accompanies this fine Marlin.
