***SOLD*** Incredible and very rare Pre War 220 Swift Super Grade. This is a very early 4 digit S/N 9915 with matching bolt made in 1937. This rifle wears the desirable early rust blued carbon steel barrel with 1936 date stamp! Pre War Swift Supers have been even harder for me to find than the rarest of calibers. They are very elusive! The condition of this one is simply superb for an 85 year old rifle with all original finishes showing an honest 98% Blue everywhere except the buttplate, which shows typical light patina. The wood is also excellent with only scattered light handling marks/impressions one would expect. There are no significant dents, nor any gouges or cracks anywhere. The rear receiver bridge remains undrilled! The bore and throat are excellent and the mechanical functions are flawless. All of the correct era Super Grade components are present including the Redfield front sight, properly stamped floor plate, and the proper Pre War era detachable swivels. This is a beautiful, highly desirable and highly collectible Model 70 by any standard. Expedited and fully insured shipping from Alaska to your FFL in a custom cut foam lined box is $100.
