Description:
Winchester model 57 bolt action rifle, .22 lr. This version is made with stainless steel and that occurred on only a very few early 57’s! These magazine fed repeating .22’s were made between 1927 & 1936 with somewhere around 18,000 made. So this 90 year old rifle is in mechanically excellent condition. Cosmetically the gun is well used and handled yet still retains around 20% metal finishes and about the same wood finishes.
This is a very scarce and collectible model 57. Winchester did not offer these Stainless Steel 57 as a production run.
