Description:
26 inch #1 weight round barrel with a bright near excellent bore and strong rifling throughout. The barrel retains about 95% original blue showing some scattered light handling marks and small areas toning to mild gray-brown patina. The action retains perhaps 60% original blue that shows some moderate thinning to a nice gray-brown patina. The hammer, breechblock, lever and crescent butt show a good deal of case colors taking on a smokey appearance. Sights include a sporting front with a German silver blade and a Lyman tang sight. The rear sight dovetail is blanked and there are a pair of scope blocks added. Equipped with working single set trigger. Smooth walnut straight grip stock and forearm are solid and full fitting showing near all original finish with light handling marks.
