270 Win, serial number 861XX. Mfg 1948. Transition model, with transition safety and pre-war style cloverleaf tang. Overall in good condition, shows normal wear/use marks. Wood shows light marring in buttstock, areas of finish wear, especially in toe and heel areas, finish wear on edges of pistol grip. Metal shows normal wear, heavier on bolt handle knob, and floorplate, area of blue wear on top of barrel from rack wear. Missing front sight hood. Bore is excellent. 4 factory holes in top of receiver, two aftermarket holes in side of receiver for scope side mount. Comes with Lyman Alasksan scope and Pachmayr low swing scope mount.
