A Very early Civil War Allen & Thurber Dragoon Pepperbox With Spur On Trigger Guard In Very Good Untouched Condition. Serial #255, all matching numbers including the pistol, grips, and main spring. All original and complete. In .36 caliber with a 6 inch barrel. The pepperbox has very good metal, and good markings. All of the metal on it is untouched with a natural dark patina throughout it. The frame and nipple cover are factory engraved. The pistol shows minor wear in a couple of spots. All of the screws are very good. The original wood bag grips are fine throughout. It has a good bores and a very good action. Many Of These Large Dragoon Pepperbox Pistols Were Carried Early And Through The Civil War By Soldiers On Both The North And The South!
