Description:
We have one of the Limited Edition Turnbull 1911 45ACP U.S. Navy 45 acp in box with all paperwork. Serial Number is T0003X or the last number of the serial number is covered. This is NOT a restored gun. This is manufactured by Turnbull. Serial numbers and other stampings are consistent with the style used on the originals on the left front of the frame. Every pistol has the “Turning Bull” mark on the left rear of the slide.
We copied this from another source describing the firearm. ....................the Turnbull 1911. Starting with a new forged frame, the good folks at Turnbull kept to the original specs and quality as seen generations ago. Hand polished, then Carbonia Charcoal blued, their 1911 looks like it is still dripping wet when finished. Other period touches such as, early-style slide stop, two tone magazine and correct sights round out the package.....................................
This came from the one of five estates we represent of an FFL/SOT Gun Smith, Gun Store. There will be countless other listings ranging from firearms from antique to modern to custom. There will be countless non firearms from vintage ammo to "take off" parts to just whatever a store accumulates. All of this for the past 4 years as well as the next 4 to 5 years.
