Description:
The item for sale is a Colt Police Positive Special Revolver. This is the first issue of this model which ran from introduction in 1907 to 1927. There were four issues of this model with production ending in 1995. The overall condition of the revolver is very good. The Colt factory letter,, included with the sale of this revolver, states it was shipped March 4, 1920 to Stauffer Eshleman and Compsny of New Orleans, Louisiana. The revolver appears to have seen little use. The blue is very good showing minimal wear. There is some dulling of the blue on the back-strap and butt. The grips are excellent. Virtually no wear ring on the cylinder. The action is mechanically excellent. The bore is very good. The grips are excellent without cracks or chips and showing virtually no wear. Please include $35 to cover shipping and insurance. A copy of a FFL or C&R is required prior to shipping. This will be shipped via USPS and fully insured.
