Description:
The item for sale is a Colt Army Special Model Revolver. The Army Special Model was introduced in 1908 and was in production until 1927 when it was renamed to the Officisl Police Model. The revolver being offered for sale was manufactured in 1922. The revolver is in very good overall condition showing very little use. The original Colt blue shows very little wear from minor handling, with the back-strap and butt toning slightly. The grips are excellent with no cracks or chips and showing virtually no wear. The bore is very good, mechanically the action is excellent and cycles as Colt intended. Colt pre-war revolvers are quite simply some of the finest double action revolvers made. This revolver features the desirable 6" barrel. Please include $35 to cover shipping and insurance. This will he shipped via USPS and fully insured. A copy of an FFL or C&R is required prior to shipping.
