Description:
The left side of the slide is marked "COLT'S MK IV / SERIES '70 / GOVERNMENT MODEL / 45 AUTOMATIC CALIBER" followed by the Rampant Colt emblem. The right side of the slide is marked "COLTS GOVERNMENT MODEL". The right side of the frame is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. / 70B19549". The top right of the trigger guard is marked with a "<". The left side of the trigger guard is marked with an "l". The exposed portion of the barrel is marked "COLT .45 AUTO / MK.IV/SERIES '70". The grips are checkered wood with gold Colt medallions. The grips are sharp. No chips or cracks. Included is the factory box bearing the factory end label verifying that the gun is a custom shop order and the finish is "Elecroless Nickel". The end closure is no longer attached to the box. Colt paperwork. This Colt 1911 is in excellent condition. .45 Auto
