Sporting Rifle, 44 Evans centerfire, 26" ocyagon barrel, made in Mechanic Falls, ME, cartridges loaded through the butt, patent dates of Dec.8, 1868 and Sept. 16,1871, est. quantitymade of 3000, all original and new condition overall, 100% case color on buttplate and lever, 100% wood varnish, 99% blue, one very small scuff keeps it from mint.
