Description:
This revolutionary gun was the first American breech loading rifle adopted for military service, also the first one to have interchangeable parts. As scarce as the rifles are, the carbines are scarcer, especially the ones that feature an integral bayonet. Hall rifles were used during Mexican American war, Indian wars and to a smaller extend in Civil war. The gun for sale is in good everall condition, stock has a usual crack on the left side of the receiver, Action works fine with a two stage hammer. Rear barrel band is loose. The gun is missing a butt plate and a patchbox cover that was integral with trigger guard but the price refletcs that. No license needed to buy xcept NJ residents. Thanks, check my other listings.
