"Bill" Hurt Bowie Fighter 7-1/2" carbon steel blade by 1-1/4" width, from 5160 steel stock, Tiger stripes curly maple handle, German silver guard, square scarce ivory butt cap with pins, brown leather African Kudu wood-lined basswood scabbard with frog stud, and fine leather throat. Filed work on guard with floral design and pins in handle. This is knife # 205 made in April 2001. Bill Hurt only made 251 knives in his carrer as a knifemaker whose last knife (# 251) was made in June 2005.
